VMS RACING 2-piece, FRONT-END (ONLY) STAINLESS STEEL LOWERING KIT with DELRIN BUSHINGS [ and ] ARTICULATING BALL FOOT PEG for the CORVETTE C5 are designed to lower your 1994 to 2004 C5 up to 1.5 inches WITHOUT changing the ride quality of your vehicle.. The kit is designed to work with your factory transverse leaf spring. These are NOT your factory bolts. They are meant to replace your two spring retainer bolts in the FRONT of your ‘97-’04 C5 Corvette. The benefits of lowering the center of gravity on your C5 Corvette are LESS ROLL, BETTER HANDLING and BETTER CORNERING. The VMS RACING Lowering Kit includes 2 Lowering BOLTS that are made of CNC-machined STAINLESS STEEL with WRENCH FLATS and mated with an ARTICULATING FOOT for smooth operation and attached to a DELRIN FOOT PAD. This design, unlike steel ones with fixed welded non-articulating foot pads, offer years of CORROSION RESISTANCE, SMOOTH SUSPENSION TRAVEL, ARTICULATION and WHISPER-QUIET operation. They are a DIRECT FIT. NO MODIFICATION to the STOCK COMPONENTS is required. The benefits of VMS RACING Corvette Lowering Kit are galaxies apart compared to other offered on the Internet. VMS RACING = STAINLESS STEEL, ARTICULATING FOOT, WRENCH FLATS, DELRIN FOOT PADS. ALL OTHERS sold on the Internet = made of steel (will rust), welded foot pad (will creek and poor suspension travel), rubber foot pad covers (will break and wear out). It’s a no-brainer. You will get more DURABILITY, PROPER SUSPENSION TRAVEL and QUIETER OPERATION with the VMS RACING Corvette Lowering Kit. Does NOT fit F45, Selective Real-Time Dampening Equipped Corvettes.
