AdBlue

Background for the use of AdBlue®: In 2001, all European vehicle manufacturers agreed on the introduction of SCR exhaust gas aftertreatment in a joint declaration and defined AdBlue® as a reducing agent. The SCR technology lowers the e.g. particularly relevant operating costs in the commercial vehicle industry by saving fuel, taxes and toll charges. This means: the environment is protected and at the same time vehicle owners and freight forwarders benefit from cost advantages. Important: Unlike the Euro 3 standard, SCR allows the vehicle to be optimally utilised even though emissions are reduced. The reduction of pollutant emissions does not impair the driving values. AdBlue® not only has an environmentally friendly effect on the emission of harmful substances, but is also a safe, aqueous urea solution. It is non-toxic and is not considered a hazardous substance or a hazardous material. It is non-flammable or explosive. AdBlue® is rated in the lowest water hazard class 1. The crystallization point is -11°C. The consistent quality of the 32.5% aqueous reduction solution of highest purity is ensured by the ISO 22241 standardisation.
